Terrace Covers
To us a Terrace Cover is any form of small or large weather protection system for a patio, terrace, balcony or garden area. Samson Awnings have plenty of options to offer for this kind of requirement whether it is for commercial or domestic applications.
Terrace Cover is just a term we use to describe these products however they are also recognised as:

Basic terrace cover systems would generally only be for the protection from sunlight and harmful UV rays with absolute minimal resistance to windier conditions and these would include large umbrellas, the Terrasol butterfly awning systems and low to mid range patio awnings, manual or electric operated. We also have shade sails and the technically brilliant Paraflex side mounted umbrella system.
A step up for windier, exposed areas with the addition of light rain protection may include products such as the Markilux RS8000 system or the Weinor Plaza and Plaza Pro, both of which are fabric based retractable cover solutions with electric operation. These systems can have additional side or front fixed weather protection fabrics or screens in various materials. The Markilux Syncra also offers a great range of single or twin awning systems with the additional upgrade to the Pergola system having support legs and tensioned fabric running in channels for higher wind resistance.
We also offer a range of aluminium canopy systems with polycarbonate roofing options and rainwater guttering for all year round use and a permanent fixture to the area.
The more permanent all year round solutions include the Gibus retractable roof systems which can take wind, rain and snow loadings and can be designed into aluminium or timber frameworks. The Patiola retractable fabric system also performs a similar function but with a lower resistance to strong winds and snow. Both have the option of rainwater guttering to make dispersal of rainwater far more effective than simply falling off the front and sides and blowing around.
The Weinor Terrazza offers the basis for an all aluminium constructed glass veranda system which can have additional fixed or sliding glass side or front sections to make a completely enclosed garden room up to some very large sizes.
Samson Awnings can also add additional awning systems to existing structures such as a timber pergolas, making the whole area useable in all types of weather.
