The glass veranda is perhaps one of the most perfect weather protection systems for making an outdoor space comfortable and usable throughout the year in the UK. It is particularly relevant if a retractable fabric blind is also included under or above the glass canopy itself, providing adjustable sun shade for the hotter months.
All year round rain protection is a given feature as standard.

You can choose from various glass veranda systems, either wall mounted or stand alone structures, with various styles and roof bar designs to suit period, modern or contemporary homes and also commercial premises.

BASIC GLASS VERANDAS

Our basic specification glass verandas offer great protection from the rain all year round and every single model we offer has its own built in rainwater guttering in the front profile with downpipes built into the support posts.

ALL our veranda systems are made to measure regardless of their price point and offer the perfect fit for your outdoor area. Every veranda is manufactured from high quality aluminium profiles and are always prefinished in tough Powdercoat colour options.

The basic system we offer uses a triple polycarbonate roof and this enables very large sizes to be used if required with the lighter weight compared to real glass.

The veranda can be fitted with glass roof sections at extra cost.

LUXURY GLASS VERANDAS

Luxury glass verandas are defined by their beautiful, high quality, robust aluminium profiles with the differences manifesting mainly from the roof bar designs available. Whether it is a traditional or a modern visual appearance you are after, we will have a roof style which suits.

Round or square posts for the vertical profiles and varying shapes and heights on the horizontal roof bar designs.

Integrated rainwater guttering incorporated into the front profile takes all the rainwater away at low level via the support posts.

The front beam is capable of taking additional products for sun, wind or rain protection, such as electric vertical fabric blinds, sliding glass doors, or fixed glazing and aluminum panelling to name a few.

The best overall combination is always the glass veranda and a built in electric, retractable, fabric blind providing protection from the midday sun, keeping it cooler underneath and far more comfortable all round.

Built in LED lighting is also a very desirable addition, making your outdoor space useable into the evening, with lights in the roof bars, vertical support posts, or along the back of the wall all controlled by remote handset or app on your phone.

GLASS VERANDAS WITH FLAT ROOF DESIGN

Innovative design to provide a roof with a very modern cubic style and a flat roof design to the onlooker. The glass roof sections are angled within the framework to give the rainwater drainage but practically invisible from outside.

This is a super modern and sleek design of patio glass roof and works with so many styles of property where the angled style is not perhaps in keeping.

The same high quality super strong aluminium construction with accessories also available to enhance the specification and experience, including LED lighting, electric retractable blinds, sliding glass doors and vertical electric blinds. These are all available to give further protection from the sun, wind and rain and can be retrofitted in many cases later on.

GLASS VERANDA WITH SUNSHADE BLINDS

As we have stated, the perfect solution for rain and sun protection in the UK has to be a glass veranda system with an integrated retractable fabric blind….

You will have all year round rain protection (and snow!), but then have the retractable electric awning to control the heat and glare from the sun in the warmer months of the year…

Full or partial extension of the blind will control the shade during various parts of the day.

The blind can be externally or internally mounted depending on any physical restrictions on site, or preference.

Our wall mounted and free standing glass verandas can all have a retractable blind incorporated, including the flat roof versions. We also can incorporate vertical side blinds to perform the same sun shading function with hundreds of options on the fabric colours and specification.

Creating your perfect outdoor space should incorporate sun and rain protection and wind protection perhaps is a far more serious undertaking in reality, but then who sits outside when it is very windy anyway? We find most customers just want some protection from the cooling breezes in the cooler months and in the evenings, this is achievable in many different ways.
