How much does a Bioclimatic Pergola Cost?
Being generally a made to measure product and available anywhere between 3m x 3m up to almost any size by coupling, the price range is enormous. To be clear, an electric operated, rotating louvre bladed, aluminium roof and aluminium pergola structure will start from around £10,000 upwards. Anything less than £10,000 isn’t the same product at all and will probably be manually operated with small gauge profile sections and limited sizing options.
Are Aluminium Louvre Pergolas worth the money?
Any of the latest electric operated aluminium pergola systems are obviously more expensive than a basic manual system or timber traditional pergolas, but they are worth it in the longer run because of their durability, performance and low maintenance.
Do you supply Glass Extensions?
Yes we do, but not as an ‘extension’ in the traditional sense of the word on a house. The glass structures we offer are generally called glass verandas by most people and create a glass canopy for outside use, fitted against an existing building wall. We have wall mounted but also stand alone glass and polycarbonate roof verandas and now offer a flat roof design as well as the more traditional angled lean to systems.

The Weinor Pergotex is a newly developed and highly effective retractable fabric roof canopy system using a very tough vinyl fabric, far thicker and stronger than normal awning fabric.

What is the Best All Year Round Solution?
This isn’t that easy to answer, as it depends on your expectations. ‘All year round’ for many commercial applications may actually mean most months, but not the coldest winter months. For domestic application it may mean just the ability to prevent rain when it falls in the summer months. A true all year round solution will be a very high specification indeed.

Yes we do, the definition and perception of which varies slightly, but is usually a visual detail in the framework and supporting posts. We can offer ‘victorian’ style front support posts on our own range of glass veranda systems which are made to measure and available in almost any colour.
What is a butterfly awning?
A butterfly awning is a steel or aluminium goalpost structure with 2 retractable awnings fitted either side at the top which when extended form the shape of a butterfly wings providing weather protection whilst being free standing.
