NEW for 2023 – The Samson Range of Fabric Retractable Awnings

Whilst we have always sold the very best awnings on the market and continue to do so as a major UK specialist dealer, including the superb Markilux, Erhardt and Weinor ranges, we now offer a small range for UK specific applications.

A range of awnings with a very fast delivery time and for sizes up to 7m wide a great price point for the majority of applications.

We have 2 full cassette retractable awnings for a start to provide made to measure sizes up to 7000mm wide and a maximum projection of 3600mm (on our Samson 7000 awning).

All the awnings are aluminium and have a massive range of fabrics to choose from using the long established Dickson range. Dickson have manufactured textiles specifically for outdoor use for decades now and offer leading trend colours and finishes with upgrades to provide suitable fabrics for specific environments. Fire resistant fabrics for example for commercial applications being one example.

All the awnings use electric tube motor drive systems from Somfy, the world leader in motors for rolling and retractable products. Decades of experience and a world leader give peace of mind and a standard 5 year warranty as well as one of the widest ranges of controls for operation close by or from anywhere in the world.

The Samson 5500 uses the superb Dickson awning fabrics range, specifically designed for awnings and external use. Technically advanced and highly decorative the fabric collections are always in tune with the latest trends.

Dickson have been manufacturing high quality fabrics for many years and they have fabulous properties for external applications.

PRINTING

The Samson 7000 is a perfect awning for commercial applications, whether that be a shop, hotel, offices, pub, cafe, and so on.

A wide range of solid fabric colours exist and these are perfect for printing logos and lettering to advertise your business externally.

Possibly the best way to provide a large brand logo which is presented fully when the awning is extended.

CONTROLS

Most retractable awnings are electrically operated because it makes sense and also means you can include a wind or motion sensor to ensure the awning is retracted if the weather suddenly changes and you forget the awning is extended. Simple, safe automatic closing all from a simple sensor and having an electric drive included.

Our awnings use the Somfy motor drive and with this comes a whole range of remote handsets, wall switches, timers, light sensors, temperature sensors and so on.

The future is in Smart Home technology and Somfy have begun to lead the way in simple, inexpensive Smart controls and software.

Future proof your awning or blind by using IO technology and including a Somfy Tahoma Switch from the outset giving you the opportunity to take full control via your smartphone or tablet but also set up schedules and ‘scenarios’ to suit your home and personal movements.
