Weinor Glasoase Installation in Dorset
A major project in Dorset, this property was being completely renovated (see photos below), and to go alongside it, they had requested a glassroom from Samson Awnings, resulting in this fantastic Weinor Glasoase Installation.
The Weinor Glasoase was an ideal solution to their needs. The system contains a terrazza patio roof which has it’s sides filled in with glass panels or doors (after having the sides squared off first using glass panels). The result is a naturally bright room, that extends your usable outdoor space even in the harshest of conditions, whilst built in guttering means that rain water is channelled away and dispersed at ground level.
Coupled with some sliding glass doors and a glass window above, the light feeling will continue into the next room, and when opened up will allow for a very open plan feeling.
The framework is made from sturdy aluminium, and the system truly blends the inside and the outside, making it a gradual transition that feels natural. The room remains light and airy, and very rarely requires planning permission of any kind as opposed to systems such as conservatories.
Coated in white, the system perfectly blends into the surrounding property and looks completely at home there. It’s minimalist yet modern aesthetic is also matched by the home. The floor is kept the same stones as outside to enhance the natural look, whilst the tracking is dug into the floor and has no raised elements, reducing tripping hazards.
