Freestanding Syncra

The Syncra frame system from Markilux provides an exceptional aluminum goal post structure to allow the installation of any of the high quality retractable awnings they manufacture, but also the pergola awning ranges too. There is the Syncra “Fix’ and a Syncra ‘Flex’, the ‘Fix’ being a fixed system bolted to the ground on a suitable substrate. The ‘Flex’ is a system using large steel weighted boxes to support the frame and awnings. These ‘Flex’ boxes have to be filled with aggregate and will weigh a lot, but they also double up as either seating or planters.
The biggest benefit of course is they are perfect for spaces where you cannot dig into the ground or maybe don’t want to because the system might be moved at a later date..

They are perfect as temporary structures in the true sense and often assist in planning applications where required

You have a Syncra ‘Uno’ and a Syncra, depending on whether you are fitting an awning or pergola to one side or both sides to double the size of the system

Lewens manufacture an excellent universal freestanding frame system which is available in 29 colours and made to measure for supporting single or double awning systems, as well as much larger pergola systems too.. Again, this framework is available with weighted boxes or ground plate fixings, all depending on site conditions.

The Lewens system can combine various products on the same framework when required. A glass veranda one side maybe and a retractable fabric roof on the other side?
