The Opal Design II cassette awning stands out for its timeless, classic design. Designed to shade large areas, it blends in harmoniously with it’s surrounding architecture, the attractive shape of the cassette adding a sophisticated element.

There are a wide range of practical and aesthetically pleased optional extras to make it easy to operate and wonderfully convenient whilst extending the lifetime of your awning.

The Opal Design II cassette is just 16cm in height and has a particularly flat shape, which means that when the awning is not in use it blends harmoniously into it’s surroundings.

The smart cassette design means it provides the best in stability and safety and due to the design of the end caps, when these are closed the awning is properly closed which means the fabric is completely protected from dirt and damp.

The Weinor Opal Design II offers a high level of protection from the wind and other adverse weather conditions, tested up to wind force 5 on the Beaufort scale. It also comes as a combined multi section unit for very large terraces.

This fantastically agile awning can be tilted infinitely using a manual tilting device between 5° and 45° to fully optimise your shading capabilities. This allows you to enjoy your patio, decking or balcony space in the early mornings or late evenings when the sun reaches a low altitude.

Heating systems

Available with a device named the Tempura, offer a refreshingly warm feeling, brings your patio space alive and makes it an extremely pleasant place to be – even in the summer!

The radiated heat covers a relatively large area and the housing can be adjusted in direction to allow for directional heat.

Weather sensors

The BiConnect series remote sensors automatically act as a sun wind and rain sensors depending on your needs.

They detect whether the sun is shining bright, whether its too windy or whether its raining and operate the awning accordingly.

This way, they offer suitable protection whilst you are out of the home.

Sizes & Operation

The Weinor Opal Design II is available up to a maximum width of 6.5m with a projection of up to 4m. The size of the cassette casing is 26.5cm x 16cm excluding the use of brackets.

The Weinor Opal Design II comes with electronic operation as standard with one motor and can optionally be controlled with the pre-programmed BeEasy remote control.

A crank drive on the awning is optional.

The Weinor Opal Design II is available in a large array of colours including the 47 standard RAL colours, other RAL colours (at a 10% surcharge), 8 trendy conservatory colours (at a 5% surcharge) and other structure colours (for an additional 15% surcharge).
