Introducing the Winter Collection: make more of your outdoor space beyond summer

Samson Outdoor Living introduces the Winter Collection: five carefully selected product categories for enjoying your garden, patio or terrace beyond the summer months. Choose the right level of shelter now, with spring and summer firmly in mind.

Your outdoor space has more to offer

An autumn lunch beside the garden, a brighter place to sit on a calm winter afternoon or a sheltered terrace for evening conversation: start with the moments you would like to enjoy. The Winter Collection is designed to make that conversation easier.

It brings together retractable awnings, retractable pergola awnings, bioclimatic louvre pergolas, glass verandas and glass outdoor rooms. Each offers a different balance of openness, shade and shelter, so the right choice starts with how you want to use the space.

Five routes to a more usable terrace

  • Retractable awnings: Flexible overhead shade that can be put away when you want open sky. Samson identifies sun protection as their primary purpose, with rain suitability depending on the selected specification (retractable awnings).
  • Retractable pergola awnings: A supported fabric roof for buyers who want substantial cover and the option to open it. Systems such as Weinor PergoTex II combine a retractable roof with posts and managed drainage, subject to installation and operating limits (Weinor PergoTex II).
  • Bioclimatic louvre pergolas: An option within the collection for adjusting overhead light, shade and ventilation. Ask which roof and enclosure configuration suits the way you intend to use the terrace.
  • Glass verandas: Consider a glazed roof when maintaining daylight beneath permanent overhead cover is a priority. Discuss shading and side protection at the same time, rather than treating winter shelter and summer comfort as separate projects.
  • Glass outdoor rooms: Combine the roof with fixed, sliding or folding glass sides for a more sheltered space that can open up again in warmer weather (Samson glass rooms).

Specify for the colder months, not just the photograph

Samson’s glass rooms can be configured around the property, with choices covering enclosure, roof and side shading, dimensions and layout (Samson glass rooms). Start by explaining the direction your terrace faces, where wind reaches the seating area and whether daytime or evening use matters most.

For this collection, think of a glass outdoor room as a sheltered outdoor space, not a replacement for a thermally insulated extension. Discuss lighting, targeted warmth and enclosure together, with comfort expectations matched to the weather and chosen system.

Retractable roofs also have operating limits. Weinor’s PergoTex II guidance, for example, distinguishes rain protection at suitable pitch from sun protection alone and warns against operation in freezing conditions (Weinor operating guidance).

Plan now and ask about the current offers

Selected offers are currently listed on Samson’s website, but they do not all finish together: the glass room promotion is listed to 29 October 2026, selected Markilux cashback to 31 December 2026 and Markilux lighting savings to 31 January 2027 (current offers). Eligibility and combination restrictions apply, so ask the team to confirm the relevant terms with your quotation.

If a new outdoor space is on your list for 2027, consider starting the specification before the end of 2026. Agree survey, manufacture and installation timing with the team rather than assuming an order date guarantees completion during winter.

Start with your space

Send Samson Outdoor Living a few photographs, approximate dimensions and the ways you would like to use the area. Ask about the Winter Collection and the current offers, then compare the solutions that suit your property rather than choosing by season alone.
