Markilux 990 Full Cassette Retractable Awning, Banbury.

In spring 2015 we installed this retractable patio awning to a beautiful English country garden in Banbury, Oxfordshire.

The customer visited our showroom as he wanted to shade a small patio decking area in this garden, due to the size being 3500mm wide x 3000mm projection we recommended our best-selling awning the Markilux 990.

The newly re-designed Markilux 990 has proved immensely popular within the awnings market. Its fully-enclosed cassette imperviously seals the awning cover, roller and folding arms to protect them from the elements, denying the chance for rust or mould to grow.
This retractable awning is ideally suited to smaller courtyards, offices, patios and balconies however it is highly adaptable and can easily cope with other applications.
The 990 is associated with true build quality, a compact and lightweight design and a highly attractive oval cassette design that is available in a range of colours.

This customer opted to pay a small surcharge for a non-standard RAL colour (Light Ivory RAL 1015) so that the awning cassette perfectly matched his windows, doors and conservatory. Then he choose a complementary light ivory fabric with a thin chocolate brown stripe (Sunsilk 32876)
