Yes, the glass or polycarbonate roof of an aluminium veranda is 100% waterproof and forms a solid, impervious roof against rain, with rainwater channelled into integrated guttering and downpipes.
The beauty of the glass veranda is 100% rainfall roof protection with maximum natural light, unlike any other weather protection solution.
Bear in mind it’s only the roof that’s waterproof; an open sided veranda will still let in wind driven rain from the sides. Optional fixed glass or solid aluminium sides, sliding glass doors or vertical blinds can be added to give more enclosure and shelter on one or all sides exposed.
