Large Retractable Roof Canopy, Buckinghamshire.

In March 2015 we installed this retractable shading system to large family home in Buckinghamshire.

Located on top of a high hill, this attractively designed house required sun shade to the patio which would not be damage or blown away. The height of the upstairs windows however prohibited us from being able to fit at a pitch sufficient to encourage rain water to drain away. The added challenge was the fact that several members of the family were well over six foot tall! The solution was a coupled Markilux Pergola 210.

The Markilux Pergola 210 is a large but nevertheless very elegant patio shading system. It provides protection from sun, wind and a rain – in both private and commercial domain: Little framework, big benefits – this concept is perfectly translated into the large-scale awning system, resting on slender posts with unobtrusive lateral guide tracks. The adjustable legs enabled the awning to be anchored against the elements whilst allowing the front profile to be lowered for the purpose of allowing water to run off.

This customer choose Anthracite Metallic 5204 to conform with their existing Anthracite Grey windows and doors and a coordinating fabric in an Anthracite and Ivory bold stripe (Sunvas 31317l)
