The Semina awning, designed with years of hard-earnt Weinor experience, is a solid awning with stylish side fittings and a refreshing choice of side sitting panel colours.

This awninh is well protected thanks to its semi-circular top with its specially adapted front rail to ensure both the awning material and operating mechanism are well protected against the elements.

The Weinor Semina has a very diverse yet clever gutter system to help rainwater drain away efficiently. This system is integrated into the front section and is installed with a cover brush to remove residual dirt when the awning cover is retracted.

It is available with a state of the art built-in lighting system and it is also available with awning heaters and all-weather sensors to make your awning experience all the more pleasurable. These systems can be viewed on the Weinor Heating & Lighting Systems page.

Sun, Wind and Rain sensors are available on request too – these sensors detect when the rain shines too bright, when the wind is too strong or when it rains and operates the awning in accordance; perfect when you’re too busy to take notice!

Sizes
The maximum width for a single unit Semina is 6m with a maximum projection of 3.5m. The dimensions of the cassette casing is 20.4m x 20.4cm without brackets. These units can not be coupled.

Operation
The Weinor Semina is available with motor drive electric operation as standard. When powered by a motor drive, it is operated using either the WeiTronic Combio-868 MA, WeiTronic Combio-868 HD or the WeiTronic Combio-868 LD-AB systems (with suitable WeiTronic hand-held remote control units)

Alternatively, this awning is available with manual operation on request.

Colours
The Weinor Semina is available with a large selection of colours. They are available with 47 standard RAL colours at no extra cost, any other RAL colour (for a 10% surcharge), 8 trendy conservatory colours (for a 5% surcharge) or other structure colours (for a 15% surcharge).

At the latest in the spring, when the first rays of the sun entice one into the open air, come the first thoughts about the right equipment for the patio or balcony. It needs proper sun protection, with sophisticated technology and a smart design that blends harmoniously into the ambience of the home. An elegant solution is the new awning from weinor with the melodious name Semina. With a maximum width of six metres and a maximum projection of three and a half metres, the Semina offers ample latitude for a wide range of patio sizes. The atmosphere under the awning should also be regarded from a visual point of view.  Weinor takes this into account in the design of its products.

Not only fresh air lovers are well protected under the new Semina. Thanks to the attractive semicircular projection profile, the mechanism and the fabric are also immune to every weather. Another plus point: The rain gutter integrated in the projection profile permits water to run off to the side when it is closed. If the fabric has got wet, the new half cassette allows it to drip into the gutter. And something to please awning owners who value cleanliness: A brush in the rain shield cleans coarse dirt from the awning fabric as it is rolled in. No worries when extending or retracting the Semina: The arm stopper prevents the arm striking the profile when it is retracted, and a slip foil prevents fabric abrasion. And, last but not least, the stop cam ensures  positive closing for reliable retraction of the projection profile, even under extreme conditions.

Not just attractive and practical – it is also designed for everyday use. The valance, with a height of 20 cm, can be removed by hand and can be stored in safety over the winter. Whether wall mounting, eave mounting or ceiling mounting with angle to front or rear – Semina can do it all! And so that awning enthusiasts can enjoy the product for as long as possible, the wall brackets – like all the small parts from weinor – are powder coated in facade quality. Refined quality down to the smallest detail: All materials like screws, nuts and bolts are of high grade stainless steel. The steel rod link chain in the middle joint of the Semina gives it maximum stability – a typical weinor quality feature. Thanks to the slender profile of the hinged arms, these are comfortably concealed in the half cassette. A further feature for long service life: Drop forged arm components. This technique is also used for the production of aircraft undercarriages.
