Heating and Lighting
If you enjoy entertaining alfresco in the evenings or simply relaxing outside but always feel forced to go back indoors once it starts to get a bit cooler Samson Awnings have the ideal solution for you. Our range of patio heaters to compliment our awnings and umbrellas are virtually maintenance-free and are all electric rather than gas powered, meaning they are safe, clean and silent.
Unobtrusive but effective, our wall-mounted or awning mounted heaters do not simply heat the air under your awning. Instead they provide instant infrared warmth which will not be affected by draughts, allowing you to sit under your awning in total comfort – and at around 8 pence per hour running costs it means you can afford to use your heater whenever you need to.
Control is simple with either a wall switch or choosing from a range of different remote controls and when the unit is switched on the heat is instant – no warming up period!
The units themselves are supplied in many different shapes and sizes to enable installation in the most effective position possible underneath your selected awning or umbrella. The heaters actually give a very effective warm lighting as well as the heat to further enhance the outdoor area.
Enjoy more of your evening in gloriously warm and pleasant lighting conditions! Feel the heat straight away – no warming-up phase evenly distributed and constant warmth under your awning in an area of 9-12m²
Halogen and fluorescent lighting is widely available now for most awnings and umbrellas and many models have the option of having the lighting units built in to the cassette against the wall or the front awning bar. Lights can also be added and affixed to the wall or surrounding areas and controlled from the same handset as the awning.
The awnings with lights integrated into the front leading bar have control via the same remote control that operates the awning itself.
