Weinor Pergotex II with LEDs Installed on Decking
This fantastic looking property was having the garden revamped, and part of this was having decking laid down. To go over this, the owners wanted a retractable roof system to enable them to spend time outside during the summer even when it rains, but the ability to open it up during nicer weather.
The Weinor Pergotex II was a naturally perfect solution.
The system consists of a sturdy aluminium frame and a retractable fabric roof cover system which consists of tear resistant PVC fabric fastened to transom sections that give the roof its strength. The retractable roof cover means that it is an ideal system for on top of patios or terraces, and the roof is able to withstand sun, wind, rain and even light snow.
This system was specified with LED lights in order to ensure that the outside space can be used further into the evening. The lights are lined up along the transoms along the roof, and this ensures they are unobtrusive and can also be turned on and provide light even when the roof is retracted.
The option is also there to have glass panels and doors, or fabric side screens, and these allow you to close off the sides and fronts and create a form of outdoor room. This makes the Pergotex an incredibly diverse system and one that suits a wide range of situations and properties.
The system is above a set of bi-folding doors, and is attached to a one story part of the property, and many systems would have struggled under these conditions, or simply looked out of place. The Pergotex, however, looks perfectly at home.
