Weinor Opal Design Lux
The Weinor Opal Design Lux is an effective medium-sized awning for both home and business with an in-built lighting system. This is perfect when shade is required during the sunny day and when lighting is required when the area is still in use during the evening.
The Weinor Opal Design Lux is an awning which integrates all of Weinor’s manufacturing experience and brilliant design ideas to create a masterpiece for your home.
The oval cassette is elegantly slim and compact, however it fully encases the awnings entire mechanism and the fabric full. Held in high regard by Weinor to be ’safely housed like a pearl in a shell’, your awning is kept looking as beautiful as it did the day it was installed.
The Weinor Opal Design Lux comes installed with a built-in lighting system however it is also available with awning heaters and all-weather sensors to make your awning experience all the more pleasurable. These systems can be viewed on the Weinor Heating & Lighting Systems page.
Sun, Wind and Rain sensors are available on request too – these sensors detect when the rain shines too bright, when the wind is too strong or when it rains and operates the awning accordingly; perfect when you’re too busy to take notice!
The Opal Design Lux can really make an impression with stylish design plates, pictured right. Faceplates, which are crescent shaped caps, can be added to the end of the cassette or on the housing of lights on the Weinor Opal Design Lux to create a colourful effect.
The Weinor Opal Design Lux is able to couple units together to create a larger awning. This means two awning elements are joined together whilst sharing a motor. The join in the middle is covered up using a thin under-mounted cloth which masks the join and opens and retracts at the same time.
Sizes
The maximum width for a single unit Opal Design Lux is 6.5m with a maximum projection of 4m. The dimensions of the cassette casing is 26.5m x 16cm without brackets.
When coupling units together, the maximum width 12m and maximum projection is 3.5m.
Operation
The Weinor Opal Design is available with motor drive electric operation as standard. When powered by a motor drive, it is operated using the WeiTronic Combio-868 MA system (with suitable WeiTronic hand-held remote control units)

Colours
The Weinor Opal Design Lux is available with a large selection of colours. They are available with 47 standard RAL colours at no extra cost, any other RAL colour (for a 10% surcharge), 8 trendy conservatory colours (for a 5% surcharge) or other structure colours (for a 15% surcharge).
Mounting
This awning can be wall mounted, ceiling mounted or mounted on rafters.
