The Markilux 6000 retractable awning is one of the latest additions too including the ‘concertronic’ system making the entire awning into a music speaker to enable you to play your MP3 player or other music source directly through the awning!
Why? Why not?
The Markilux 6000 in the flagship awning in the domestic retractable awning range, a full cassette awning of the highest pedigree. It is a full cassette awning with futuristic connection technology at the elbow joints of the awning arms – the so-called bionic tendon, a feature keeping the awning cover as tight as possible during use.
The innovative bionic tendon, developed by Markilux and drawing inspiration from nature to create a friction-free and virtually noiseless folding of the arms. This makes the technology in your Markilux even more robust and even more durable (achieving at least 50,000 cycles during tests by the Fraunhofer Institute).
Beside the unique and individual customisation possibilities, the Markilux 6000 Lounge offers another unique feature. In the Lounge style line the frame colours off-white textured finish, stone grey metallic and anthracite metallic always ensure a clean appearance thanks to a dirt-repellant effect in rain.
Choice of fabrics
All fabrics made from sunvas snc und sunsilk snc in the current Markilux 2013 collection, including the exclusive visutex fabric series, are available. Optionally a shadeplus system is available.
Dimensions
The Markilux 6000 is available up to a maximum width of 700 cm. The maximum projection at that width is 400 cm.
Operation
Manual operation is by means of a stainless steel winding handle, optional extra are with a hard-wired electric motor or a radio-controlled motor with a wide choice of handsets or wall mounted control systems.
