LED Ambient Lighting

An impressive eye-catcher in the evening hours available for the Markilux MX-1 Compact.

The front-profile is effectively lit-up, which can be dimmed, and is available in five attractive, contrasting colours.

LED Line in Arms

The new LED Line is a stylish addition to Markilux’s lighting options, and is flawlessly integrated within the folding arms of the retractable awning – see image, right.

The intensity of the LED line can be adjusted to a level you find comfortable via a handset or convenient smartphone app.

This option is currently available for the 1700, 1600, 1710 and 1300 retractable awnings from Markilux.

Markilux Sensors

Rain Sensors

In Germany, approx. 700 litres of rain will fall on average per square metre every year. That is a lot for even the best awning to cope with. Help your awning by fitting it with a rain sensor that ensures it retracts automatically when it starts to rain.

Light and Wind Sensor

Depending on the current weather situation, this intelligent control system will extend and retract your awning automatically.

Sunlight sensors

Intelligent control of your awning depending on the ambient solar light intensity. Independent of the mains thanks to solar cell technology.

Vibrabox

Intelligent, sensitive and independent of the mains. The vibrabox is an inertia sensor and depending on wind load an awning driven by radio-controlled motor will be retracted automatically to protect it.

Markilux Shading

Side Screen

It protects from sunlight, when the sun is low and comes from the side. From prying eyes in the same position. And from wind: The Markilux 790 is a perfect standby-side-screen. It comes in a compact cassette that gets fitted vertically to the wall.

Markilux Shadeplus

Simply block out the glare from a low-lying sun and the glances of inquisitive neighbours and capture the warmth of the day in the evening. The additional awning cover is lowered vertically downwards from the front profile to create a wonderfully private room outdoors. Depending on the model, it is also available with a hard-wired motor or with remote control.
