Markilux Roof Festoons

It creates a cozy atmosphere and is purpose-built ensuring a cozy-fit too. It is exclusively for interior use however it creates a unique atmosphere that a typical awning can not provide.

A roof festoon keeps out the heat in the warm summer, and acts as a barrier to the cold in the perishing winter months.

Fixture:

Tensioned supporting wires, constructed from polished steel wire, are not only able to ensure the festoon is fitted securely but also gives it a characteristic ‘baggy’ look to allow air to freely pass through it.

Cover:

Special roof festoon fabrics are fade resistant and anti-static, air permeable, washable upto 40°c, non-shrinking and most importantly, fire resistant (according to DIN 4102 B1/M1 non feu/Classe 1/BS 5486).

Dimensions:

The Markilux Roof Festoon can be manufactured up to a maximum size of 23m². The maximum width this sun-shading product can achieve is 5m with a maximum extention of 6m 10cm.

Operation:

The Roof Festoon can be installed with either a manual cord pulley system, suitable for smaller festoons, or with a motorised system. From a width of 4.5m, it will only be supplied with a motor due to the size. Manual operation of the festoon will work perfectly upto an angle of 20°. Motorised operation is only available when the unit is installed on a flat angle.
