The drop down valance (Markilux 'shadeplus') is an optional extra on selected retractable awnings.
 It offers excellent control of low sun and also prevents cool breezes that so often occur at the latter end of a day in our British summer.
The drop can actually reach to floor level but can be open at any height in-between.
Manual geared operation or, if the main awning is electrically operated, the valance can also be remotely operated.












Can be manufactured in matching, complementing or contrasting colours to the main awning.
Traditional fluted valance still visible when the drop down element is fully retracted.
