The Markilux 1500 is a robust, semi cassetted awning with excellent features as standard.
The oval-shaped gas tensioned arms fitted as standard ensure a taut material cover. The top gutter is equipped with a brush, which cleans larger dirt particles from the cover during the retraction process. A special mechanism ensures that the top gutter is adjusted to the awning inclination, so that no gaps or overlaps occur.
The cassette is available in three colours- white, brown, light ivory and metallic aluminium. You can choose the material cover from numerous Markilux fabrics including the new Sunsilk range. The awning is available as manually operated or electric remote control but we recommend the electric version as this is an awning usually specified for larger widths.
All the prices below are for custom made sizes, simply take the nearest width size above your requirements and that is the price - simple! The projections are fixed at five options.

Design
The dynamic, smoothly finished coverboard gives the 1500 unit the advantage of a full cassette awning. The appealing oval steel arms with their gas pistons keep the cover particularly taut even when the unit is partially extended.
Dimensions
The markilux 1500 is available in widths of up to 6.6 m or with a maximum drop of 3.5 m. Exceptionally wide systems are fitted with a rolltex bearing to prevent the cover from drooping.
Style
The brilliant style of the markilux 1500 has been distinguished with an iF Product Design Award. The elegant aluminium moving arm part closes together with the attractive top gutter of the semi-cassette in complete harmony.
Cover
All markilux covers included in the balcony and patio awning portfolio are available for selection.
The shadeplus option is available either manually or electrically operated for complete control of sunlight shading underneath the awning.
Operation
Manual drive with a stainless steel winding handle, an electric motor and radio-control are available as optional extras.
Individual accents can be achieved to the frame through a choice of sealing caps offered in various colours and matching awning covers.
