Markilux 5010 Full Cassette Retractable Awning, Somerset.

This installation shows perfectly how our Markilux awnings can be adapted to suit any style of property. A customer from Somerset contacted us as she required an awning to provide shade and cool down her living room in the warmer summer months.Due to the huge width and projection required we choose to quote the Markilux 5010 fully cassetted awning.

The 5010 is a superb awning. Accredited for its slender, stylish appearance, the Markilux 5010 leads the way as one of the strongest full cassette patio awnings on the market at present.

The customer had initially been told by one of our competitors that her property was not high enough to fit an awning but with the use of specialised steel gutter brackets we were able to overcome this issue with ease.

The client wanted to keep the awning looking as traditional as possible to blend in with the beautiful old stonework on her barn conversion so she opted for the framework to be powder coated in special RAL 9016 (Mahogany brown) to match the timber cladding on the property. The customer then choose a complimentary bold striped fabric (Sunsilk 31327) which finished off the installation nicely.
